Instruction for Oral Presentations
1. Timing: Each presentation is allocated a maximum of 15 minutes in total, including both the presentation
and the discussion. Please be considerate of the schedule so that the next speaker can also begin on
time.
2. You may use your own laptop or copy your presentation file to the conference computer via a USB drive.
Please ensure your file is free of viruses. Speakers must meet their session chair in the corresponding
session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins to prepare or upload the presentation file (in
PPT or PDF format).
3. Backup Recommendation: It is recommended that you also email a copy of your presentation to yourself as a
backup. In case your file cannot be accessed from the USB drive, you can download it from your email.
4. Equipment: Each session room will be equipped with an LCD projector, screen, laser pointer, microphone,
and a computer installed with Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Reader. To ensure compatibility, please use
common fonts and symbols. If you prefer to use your own laptop, please test the connection with the
projector before your session.
5. Video Content: If your presentation contains videos, please ensure they are properly formatted and
embedded in the main file.
